Through the storm and its aftereffects, it is believed that it will affect more than 30 million people. The good news is that it should be over by the time Thanksgiving morning comes.
New England is expected to get as much as 20 inches of snow. West Virginia has already had at least 18 inches, but more was expected.
Many flights have been canceled from the major airports on the northeast. There is expected to be more than 3,500 delays.
One piece of great news is that gas is much cheaper this year than it was last year. If you are traveling, be sure to drive carefully and take your time. Also, be sure to carry extra blankets and other emergency gear with you in case you do get stuck.
Comment: Christians need to remember that other people want to get home as much as you do. While no one wants delays, we still have much to be thankful for – even if delayed. Praise God for His many mercies and hourly grace.
