This is leaving some people really fearful. A lack of finances has many afraid, as well as being uncertain of their job in the future, and whether or not they will have to go in the hospital and be put on a ventilator - or worse.
Vaccines are a thing of the future - even though some are in the initial stages of testing. And even if you go to a hospital you have no guarantee that even if you did not have coronavirus that you will not walk out with it.
So where does that leave you? When everything is uncertain, remember that there is always one thing that is that has no uncertainty - God. He never fails. His will is being accomplished in permitting the disease, but what He really wants is to get people's attention. Most people are focused on entertainment, their daily tasks, and their little social world. Where does God fit in all that?
The second commandment of the 10 commandments is this: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" (Ex. 20:3). This means He is always to be number one in our lives. Everything else is to be secondary. Jesus interpreted it this way in the New Testament: "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind" (Mt 22:37).
When you love someone you want to be with them. Also, when you love someone you want to please them. Do you really love God according to these basic principles?
If there is a question about it, how about getting into His Word during this quarantine period and spend some time with Him and get your life back on track to please Him alone? As a born-again child of God, when God is in the center of your thoughts, He removes fear - because you will be certain that He controls your future: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me" (Ps. 23:4).
