Based on some asteroids with minerals called euchrites, they have concluded that Earth and these asteroids are sharing the same source of water. Then the article admits: "Earth must have gotten its water around the same time the eucrites did—which has big implications."
Yes, those are some very big implications – ones that they might regret. You see, the Bible tells us that the heavens and the earth were made on the same day, then the earth was fully developed over the next few days. Water was created on the second day.
One thing that scientists miss, however, is that the earth was created with what is called apparent age. That is, it looked like it had been here a long time. For instance, on the day Adam was created, it would be said (as many theologians believe) that he appeared to be 25 to 35 years old. Was he really that old; or had he been here that long? No, he had only been here a few minutes. God also created fully developed ecological systems, and trees, that may have appeared to be hundreds of years old. We are told that the trees of the Garden bore many kinds of fruit – fully mature trees.
While scientists claim to have discovered something new, they might catch up to the great revelations found in the Bible concerning our beginnings. Even more important, though, is that they discover where this world and its people are headed before it is too late!
There was another time the earth was all wet – Noah's Flood. Judgment is coming.
Jesus still saves all who come to Him!
