15 of those airstrikes were made in Syria. 12 of them were aimed at "degrading and destroying" anything that has to do with collecting, storing, or transporting oil.
ISIS controls several oil fields in Syria. It is believed that as much as $3 million per day in oil goes to ISIS before the airstrikes started.
Airstrikes made on Friday and Saturday hit oil collection points, mobile oil refineries, a military camp, and some ISIS weapons. Three strikes were made near Kobane.
