In the month if December, up until Christmas, there has been 49 new cases of Ebola. 27 of them have been confirmed in the Grand Cape Mount County.
Not surprisingly, this particular county borders Sierra Leone, where Ebola is still rampant. It is, however, the least populated county in the country, with only 140,000 people in it.
A problem that could make Ebola spread fast in that county is that the people still perform ritual burial practices. This includes touching the body, bathing it, and even kissing it. The people also seem to have a strong disregard for recommendations given by the government.
