In the computer age, it may be difficult to get moving and to begin living an active lifestyle. Cutting your sitting time each day could help you live longer, if you will even do something as simple as walking 4 or 5 days per week for about 30 minutes.
Sitting burns very few calories. Walking enables you to burn three to five times as many calories. If you sit for more than three hours per day watching TV, you are increasing the likelihood you will die from heart disease by 64 percent.
