It began to be noticed during this summer's demonstrations when protests were made about the Gaza war. While the war gave anti-Semites a reason to voice an opinion against Jews, it really only gave them an excuse to express an already existing underlying hatred.
Even now in their chanting, whole mobs of them, that "Jews to be gassed, to be slaughtered, to be burned," said Deiter Grauman. He is the current president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany.
Much of the anti-Semitism seems to be coming from recent immigrants to the country - who are Muslims. The attacks have also come from emails - thousands of them. One woman, Monika Schwartz Friesel, from Berlin's Technical University, has analyzed them and noticed that most of these emails - 60 percent of them - are coming from people who are highly educated.
The increased anti-Semitism is not limited to Germany, however. It is also appearing across Europe. Wherever it is found, you can be sure that Jews are not comfortable.
The Bible tells us these things will happen in the last days before Christ's return. It is another sign of the end times, which reminds us that the Bible is true and that true Christians should be looking for His return - and being busy helping others to go with us.
I might also add that God's Word still stands that says that those nations will be blest who bless the Jews. The opposite is also true that those nations who curse Israel will be cursed (Genesis 12:1-3). God has not changed His mind or his program for the Jews. America has stood on this premise for years and I hope and pray that it will continue to support and pray for them as things seem to be becoming a little dark once again.
