The earthquake swarm has been located about 40 miles southeast of Lakeview, Oregon. They started getting worse on July 12.
Since then, there have been over 50 earthquakes that are magnitude 3 or greater. Two of them have been magnitude 4.7, which is stronger than any other quakes recently.
Altogether, there have been 101 earthquakes greater than magnitude 3. Eight of them were stronger than magnitude 4.
When a swarm like this occurs, it is quite likely that a much stronger one will follow. This happened in Reno in 2008. Unfortunately, it cannot be predicted when it might occur.
Comment: It is amazing how many earthquakes we have been seeing in the US lately. While some might have been caused by fracking, others, such as those in Yellowstone, are natural and seem to be getting stronger. Thank God that the worst of them won’t occur until in the Tribulation – when the whole globe will be shaken: “And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell” (Revelation 16:18,19).
