WHO announced this because they want to see aid groups greatly increase their efforts to help control and reduce the spread of the Ebola virus as much as possible. they would like to see another 1,000 beds added to treatment centers.
So far, 14 out of 15 counties in the country have seen confirmed cases of the virus. New centers are overfilled as soon as they open.
The total death count for Ebola cases so far is just under 2097. The number of those who are, or were infected – are 3,944.
It should be obvious by now that this outbreak is not under control and will not stop soon. It continues to increase exponentially – as WHO has said.
Christians need to be praying for these people – for their healing – physical and spiritual. It is an increased opportunity to bring the Gospel to where people may be ready to hear.
