Of course, risks should not be taken. Going to Wuhan, China, should not even be considered – Lunar New Year or not. People should try and avoid exposure to it whenever possible. Most people use medical face masks, but no one yet knows if they are sufficient.
Americans can thank God so far that the coronavirus has not yet spread in this country, although some have already be diagnosed with it. It remains to be seen what will happen in the very near future.
There is another disease in this country – and elsewhere – that is deadly to whoever touches it. It is called sin. The Bible tells us that "the wages of sin is death" (Ro. 6:23). The death it speaks of is Hell.
This disease has touched everyone. The Bible tells us "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Ro. 3:23). It also says, in Ro. 3:10: "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."
The good news is that there is a cure for the sin problem. Jesus Christ, God's Son, is the answer to all sin. The Bible tells us that believing on Christ and calling on Him will result in salvation.
If you are tired of sin and want God's forgiveness, and want to live to please God, ask Him to save you now, believing that Christ paid your debt. He promises that "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Ro. 10:13).
