In response, both the United Nations and the Syrian government are calling for quick action. The usual mass killings are expected and apparently have already started. By capturing the camp, ISIS has made further inroads in taking the capital city.
There are about 18,000 people in the refugee camp. Many of them have been there for many years – starting with the war with Israel in 1948.
During the past 700 days of the siege against the camp, more than 200 have died from starvation. Life for them has been very difficult for many years, and they have suffered in attacks from Israel, from Syrians, from Palestinians, and now from ISIS.
Comments: These people, as well as people in the surrounding areas, and everywhere, need Christ. Pray to that end.
